Implementation of POS system can influence the management of a Pharmacy business concern and the efficiency of employees.

Overview of the Problem and Proposed Solution

Some of the issues that the company is facing are customer price disputes, customer checkout times, and poor customer issue resolve. Walgreens needs to invest in a more efficient POS System that will be more industry specific. The advance new software will control pricing in a timely manner. The end of day reporting will also be time specific and up to date, and it will reflect what the store manager sees in his/her reporting.

Proper implementation of POS system in the company will help the business concern out of the prevalent problems. The system is not only cost effective, but also provides essential measures in dealing with the prevailing issues of the company. As the high level of the solution, it could cost anywhere from $10,000 to $20,000 per store to implement this system. The benefits of implementing this new system would outweigh its cost.
