The "war against terrorism" has led to serious violations of human rights, and reaction to a growing volume of litigation in this area. The article presents an overview of the trial that took place in recent years on issues such as arbitrary detention, torture and ill-treatment, extraordinary rendition, extraterritorial application of standards of human Rights and use a little too quick on the label "terrorism". These cases provide a prism through which appear the main features of the war against terrorism when it affects the rights of man, which makes us wonder about the role of courts and the impact of litigation for human rights in this area (Thomas, 2009) (Megan, 2001).

Human rights and the fight against terrorism
