1. Identify the problems leading to your poor performance.

Before I re-admitted, I did very poor in each quarter from fall 2006 to spring 2007. I usually got D or F grade. There are different reasons which cause such a poor performance during my academic years, the most important one is lack of practice in classroom. Because of my job I could not attempt classes properly and I did not enough time to study my course work. Therefore, I got 2 AP, and I had to leave the campus, and I joined military service in my home country, South Korea.

But after leaving military service I rejoined UC Davis for fall 2009, and this time I really worked hard to achieve my academic goals.

I planned to go to my country on my winter vacations. This plan was very important because I was suffering from rhinitis Allergies and I needed a nose surgery.

I talked to my parents about my decision and they realize its importance so they agree to have a surgery for it.

I was so happy about it because this allergies had a negative impact on my study and after this surgery it can no longer disturb my studies.

So I had to make schedule for plane and appointment for the surgery few days before final week.

Because of this, I couldn't manage time to study properly.

And this causes bad performance in final exam of EEC 180A and design project in EEC 140A.
