Traumatic Situation on September 11

Isaiah 24:18, ". . . for the windows of heaven are open, and the foundations of the earth tremble and shake." Assailed from above, and from beneath deprived of its supports, the earth must feel itself in the judgment hands of God.

The world's annals is inexorably going in the direction of a fixed aim repaired by God[1], in alignment that one class of persons may worry, and another class rest in the indemnity of a solid support in every test and lure, with a positive wish of last victory. God has put each of Adam's children on the identical cornerstone upon which He put their first parents free lesson bureau with the alternative of searching to realize and go in the kingdom of God by His righteousness[2], therefore conveying their mortal essence and body material under pre-eminence such that their inhabits marked the Word for their day, or just being churchgoers and good scouts who comply the regulation, pay tithes, and endure the amusement and dead customs that make Satan's experienced "church" today. This tally, while horrifically high, was—considering the fact that over 50,000 people worked at the World Trade Center on a typical day also mercifully low. That said, the sheer scale and scope of these attacks dwarfed any previous terrorist strike.

Immediately after the attacks, America was a nation in mourning and a nation under siege; for the first time, air traffic was almost totally grounded for three days. The state of alert that followed the attacks in the United States was also mirrored overseas, with flights over London, for instance, barred for several days. The New York Stock exchange closed until September 17, and within a week of its reopening, the Dow Jones Industrial Index experienced its largest drop ever over such a short time period. America was effectively a nation at ...
