Scrubs is a television series American that began airing on October 2 of 2001 by the network NBC . The creator and executive producer of the series is Bill Lawrence, who rose to fame in 1996 as co-creator of Spin City . From January 2009 is produced by ABC Studios (formerly Touchstone Television). The series focuses on personal and professional lives of several characters working at Sacred Heart (Sacre Coeur), a teaching hospital. Give characters talkative, playful, with fast-paced dialogue, surreal, with images that are presented as the daydreams of the main characters. This latter feature was originally focused entirely on the main character, Dr. John Dorian (aka JD), but was extended to dream of other characters as the series progressed, first in special episodes and then incorporating those dreams to JD , but still occasionally in certain episodes of the series.

The last chapter of the eighth season, called " My Finale "was issued on May 6 of 2009 with the string ABC . This is recognized by many as the official end of that series, as the following season was christened Scrubs (Med School) and in this, the series goes through some changes that deviate from the course which had taken in their previous 8 seasons . In the ninth season Zach Braff left the show after the first few episodes, giving rise to new characters. The series was canceled at the end of this season.

The action focuses on the personal and professional lives of a series of characters who work in an unusual hospital called Sacred Heart.
