Introduction

On September 1, 1894, two plantation blazes converged on the village of Hinckley, Minnesota, confining more than two 1000 people. The blaze conceived its own climate, encompassing hurricane-strength winds, air bubbles of plasma-like blazing gas, and 200-foot-tall flames. As temperatures come to 1,600 qualifications Fahrenheit, the firestorm knocked down structures and conveyed burning debris high into the sky.
