Understanding Of My Studies Skills

Introduction

Lifelong learning is learning how life self-motivated for personal or professional reasons. This principle is based on the idea that learning is not specified in the small or in the classroom, but extends to all stages of life and in any place. During the past fifty years, the latest change in the scientific development concept of learning is no longer a linked collection of knowledge in a specific place and time to enlarge the knowledge is no longer confined to a particular place and time (Knowles & Swanson, 2005).

From the beginning of the year, I was able to understand that I was given a well come booklet that contained all the university information and the entire facilities that was available for me to use in my academic year for my study. It includes the university programme information which has facilitated me for having the access for the module, as how to search, how to talk, including all the university mentors the leaders of the modules, which I can explain or being asked about the issues which I am facing in my academic year study, or even in my daily life, also affecting my study performance the way I can overcome it. Thus, the welcome booklet contained all the direction for the information technology like computer facility how to search a book or the author of that particular book. As during my study time I have the issues for finding book in the library, book direction number refers to includes the reading, working and learning sets on the portfolios, thus, another problem with my assignment was that I find it difficult to phrase the paragraphs, page article , reference list and author write effectively even smaller article or with the small book that my university gave me in the beginning of the year, however it helped me a lot in getting accessing towards all the university facilities, the best people that I can express my issues and getting help has made me getting hold of the good recommendation from my module leader. From my teachers I have learned a lot, they helped me on monitoring the learning skills specially taking part in more and more conversations with my teachers.

Problems and Challenges

I had a lot of problem in the beginning of my studies, as English was not my first language, the assistance has helped me out for improving my learning and reading skills. Then I became effective learner and started to read more and made a practise of revising a lot. Through this academic process lead me for improving my reading and writing skills, by taking out note on essay writing, reading books such as (study skills by Cottrell) also I analysed my skills and tried hard ot improve them, firstly I took time in understanding my weakness and then realise how I can access to the next level.
