Summary
The purpose of this research was to examine if there is any evidence that constraints and seclusion had any effect on the health of mental patients. The research questions asked: What is the connection between physical constraint use on inpatient mature psychological treatment centers and the actual time it took for patients to be treated in a psychological treatment centre? The significance and purpose of this research include allowing leadership to verify the effectiveness of group educational programs, actualizing evidence based practices, improving patient treatments by lowering the risk of harm associated with constraint application and decreasing the use of illegal practices. Moreover, the study will look to identify how seclusion can also be effective but only in extreme case and if implemented cautiously and in a correct manner. The research design of the study is quantitative correlational method which is highly effective in the case of this study.

Introduction
Traditional treatments to handle assault among patients with psychological problems have urged management of many psychological treatment centers to use practices such as seclusion and the use of actual constraints (Colazzi, 2005). Research has revealed some proof that the use of seclusion or constraints has some long-term treatment benefits (Finke, 2001). However, at times not only are these treatments not found to be healing, but on the contrary, these treatments can lead to emotional breakdowns (Finke, 2001), actual accidents and even death (Mohr, Petti, & Mohr, 2003). Organizations who want to avoid the use of these treatments when looking after for patients with psychological or mental problems need to know that staff education of alternative actions might help to reduce the use of seclusion and actual constraints.
Organizational Issues
Although restraint and seclusion have been seen in the past as therapeutic interventions, there is now a near-universal consensus that they are justified only to prevent harm to a client or others when less restrictive methods have not worked or are not practical (D. M. Day, ...
