Introduction

This paper will be focusing on the environment of StarUSA and the way Bob Lewis CEO of StarUSA became a part of it because he was not part of the family, he was an external. This paper will also be focusing on the advantages and disadvantages of StarGlobal and Lewis's senior management that uses the curve of experience for determining the strategy used in the organization. Although at first the StarUSA was running efficiently but since Bob Lewis became a part of it, it went global and became StarGlobal. The StarUSA was a well establish company having a worth of $3.5 billion that was created in the year 1949, this company was capable of providing solution for global class customized engineering.

StarUSA successfully using strategic alliance in order to result effectively that led towards becoming StarGlobal.

Purpose of paper

In this paper strategies used to make StarUSA global will be observed, the way Bob Lewis took decision within an eight hour flight to decide in working with StarUSA since he heard Herman Wouter's decision about retiring from the company, although this was known to be a family oriented business.
