Introduction

This statistic research paper was randomly selected from a population to show the sample proportion data of fifty people that live-in Volusia County, Florida, compared to the population data from the 2010 census of 494,593 Volusia county residents who are inhabitants of the county (census/gov). This use of sample data is to make inferences about a population that use the world's most famous beach for recreational purposes and the people who do not use the beach for fun (Hickey, 84).

The study has been conducted through survey; a questionnaire was distributed among 50 inhabitants of the county. To find out the best possible results we have applied different statistical techniques, it will help us identify the inference about the population using beaches. Volusia County was established in the 1800s and which was named in honor of one of the many facilities that were established in the St. Johns River. This county is home to one of the most famous beaches of not only the U.S. but the world, Daytona Beach. Volusia County has a reputation as the city where you go on vacation. The county's population has increased gradually over the past year and rising.

Discussion

The county has cut Deland and Daytona Beach. They also maintain satellite courts located in Daytona Beach and New Smyrna Beach to let you go to court most convenient to you. The main courthouse is located at 101 North Alabama in the historical center of Deland. The court of Daytona Beach is located at 251 North Ridgewood Avenue.

Descriptive Statistics

Descriptive Statistics refers to the collection, presentation, description, analysis and interpretation of data collection, essentially is to summarize these with one or two pieces of information (descriptive measures) that characterize all the same. The table below shows the descriptive statistics for the scale variables, it can be seen that the magnitude of mean i.e. 22.02 for the variable of duration shows the time period of inhabitants of Volusia County. The results shows that on average individuals visit to beach for about 3 to 4 times, while they were least interested in surfing as the results shows the magnitude of 0.52 for weekly surfing. Descriptive statistics is the method of obtaining data from a set of conclusions about themselves and do not exceed the knowledge provided by them. It can be used to summarize or describe any group whether it is a population or a sample, when the preliminary stage of statistical inference known elements in a sample.
