At times, the liaison between government and the business can be complex. The reason being both have agendas and plans that are conflicting. However; the regulation by government is a fact in every industry whether it is service or manufacturing. All those businesses that work with the government and liaison on everything can save themselves a good transaction of time and effort dealing with fines and various other legal issues. Government regulation and monitoring either at federal and state level has a major impact on the businesses operating in the United States (smallbusiness.chron.com).

However; the role of U.S. government in regulating and monitoring the businesses is as old as the country, America itself. The U.S. government's role in monitoring and regulation has increased over the time and the businesses prefer to enjoy more freedom. The role of U.S. government is both determined and a gentle guide. The determined or firm hand of government is in the areas of treating fairly with the workers and monitoring the environment however they guide when it comes to corporate business solvency and making sure that the market is healthy. In fact the intervention and monitoring of government keeps the business consumers and market players safe from many dangers.

Companies in the United States however; incur greater expenses to stay in compliance with existing regulations or alter their operations to comply with new regulations. So the future of government regulation is doubtful in the United States because the regular politics hang the federal government from a favourable business to a favourable consumer attitude.
