Introduction

In this paper we are discussing the career in Criminal justice despite the gender differences which are prevailing. Criminal justice is no longer a male dominated industry now. Individuals of both genders are continuously getting trained to learn Criminal Justice. Women have more opportunities to specialize in this field.

Thesis Statement

Despite gender differences, why can women have gratifying and satisfying careers in a correctional setting Degree being pursued is a Master Degree in Criminal Justice? The women involved in the research paper are women employees not incarcerated women.

Women Opportunities

Women employees have opportunities in law enforcement at varying levels. These levels include state, country, Federal and Local level. According to many psychologists, women have a sharp presence of mind and they have a sense of identifying people as compared to men. Similarly, women are also active and keen in their work. They are also more patient as compared to men as they lose their temper. It is also observed that men get more violent and angry as compared to women. Women in Criminal justice work in fields such as petrol, security and corrections. Since, women are more sincere with their work so they can perform very well in these areas.

As here we are discussing women who are employees. If we compare them to women who are in jail so they are more used to these situations as compared to women who are in jail. They can deal well with women and counsel them regarding the disadvantages of criminal justice and how they can suffer due to it.
