World View within the Cultural Heritage

Introduction

According to the philosophers there are a variety of world views which have been proposed in different eras. Each one was put forward to be the best or the accurate one. Modern philosophy has agreed to disagree. Up till now there has been no single world view which has been accepted by all the philosophers since each has its pro's and con's.

I shall be evaluating my own culture and religion that is Islam with respect to three world views Liberalism, Anarchism and Marxism.

Liberalism

Liberalism is derived from the Latin word liberalis. It is a vast political belief and view of the world which has its roots on the concepts of equality and liberty. It states that everyone in the world is equality and is deserving of freedom of choice. Freedom to live life, choose for themselves, freedom to believe and freedom of expression. People believing in the liberalism view hold a huge array of views all of which are dependent on their interpretation of the general doctrine. It is a fact that liberalism gives base to ideas like constitutionalism, capitalism, fair and free elections, liberal democracy, free exercise of religion and human rights. The Justice system of liberalism is based on equality and fairness.

Anarchism

Anarchism is the doctrine of a new social order which is founded on the on similar principles as Liberalism, but at the extreme. Whereas liberalism encourages freedom for everyone and everything with a tolerant social order for government, anarchy encourages complete abolishment of any sort of social law and order. It believes that liberty should be completely above any sort of law, supports a theory which says that governments, no matter which form they are, capitalism, communism, etc. all base on violence. There are unneeded and harmful. It encourages in short, complete anarchy.

Marxism

It is a social and economic system that bases its belief on the economic and political theories presented by Friedrich Engels and Karl Marx. It is a very complicated theory which is worth of volumes of books and papers; however it can be summarized as the theory which names the eternal class struggle present in any Western society or culture to be the centre point of any incoming social change.
