Worn Path and Negro Mother

"A worn path" is the story of a senior African-American Eudora Welty's ritual journey. Its main purpose is to draw out from the symbol of the journey, as well as meetings of the Negro women in her journey. According to the critics Welty's use of myth, language and the symbol in the deceptively simple story are praised.
