Introduction

Xenon is a chemical element with the element symbol as Xe, and atomic number of the element is 54th in the periodic table. It is in the 8th fundamental group and is, therefore, one of the noble gases.

History

It was in 1898 by British scientists William Ramsay and Lord Rayleigh as a small admixture of krypton. They found a residue from the evaporation of different components of the liquid air.
