In this paper, we have discussed the details about causes of war of 1812. The War of 1812 grew out of the trade tensions that existed between the young state U.S. and British Empire. Since 1803, the U.S. trade had suffered the negative effects of the blockade of French ports by the British. in 1807, reason for triggering the decision to close its ports to British goods, countered them with a kind of embargo that it became refusal of the U.S. to grant a captain of the British permission to carry out a routine inspection of their vessel. As a result, this turned into a skirmish with injuries. In 1809, the French agreed to recognize the American flag on the seas but the British opposed once again.A Historiography on the War of 1812

Introduction

The War of 1812 is often named and remembered as “America's Forgotten War”. The war was a lodge that appeared between the Revolution and Civil War. There have been quite a few combinations of causes and purposes of the war that could help understand apparent deviations, misinterpretations, fear, aims and objectives, and other emotional barriers that made communication difficult as well. In the subsequent events it embraced the presence of many egos and the true awakening or revival of new and improved American spirit. However, the entire accumulation took place in the presence of obsession of military leader.

Discussion

I believe there have been slights that can be assessed within the parameters of factual reasoning behind the taking place. It was the time when revolution was also on its way and declaring a war could have been one of the earliest slights. It can be categorized under diplomatic dispute due to its nature of conflict. After the Revolution, New England appeared to be exhausted due to indulging into lengthy tedious war for seven years. It was highly required to pay attention onto building nation. During the administrative control of Jefferson, Britain and France made clear advancements and used commercial methodologies in order to defeat each other. The two nations stood opposite to each other and were ready to face any fatal consequences to attain dominion. However, it can be thought that out of many reasons that President James Madison announced a war on Britain, in 1812. This reason seemed to something politically important for the newly elected officials after the elections of 1810. This is assumed to be the foremost 'selling' of the need of war to the American war.

There is one group of historians suggest that War 1812 was a total wastage of available resources and valuable lives of the civilians and military. Resources were appeared to be one of the most decisive essentials of the wars.
