CHAPTER 1: INTRODUCTION

The pre employment medical examination is also called pre-placement examination and this examination is in order to get the healthy employee who can perform his duty in an efficient way. The main objective of this examination is that to find out that employee is capable of performing the task efficiently or not (Lipka, 2005, 36). A paradigm shift has been seen clearly in medicines over the last 20 years.
