Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 (New York-Oregon)

We landed in the city of Portland and at the Portland international airport in Oregon. We resided in Red Lion Hotel on the River Jantzen Beach and reached the lodge at 8 am. According to the groups schedule we were asked to rest up till 3 pm and then we had to start our trip.

We were first taken to the Crater Lake national Park. It was one breath taking experience that I had as it entailed evergreen mountainous forests which were peaceful to look at and was mentally soothing. Fresh air and smell of the trees and the sound of the birds took me into a trance stage considering the hustle bustle of the city life was a constant stress inducing agent. Even more breath taking experience was to counter the waterfalls and the pristine lakes. We were asked to keep a set of clothes wherever we go before hand and since we had to stay there for 2 whole hours we as a group of 12 people decided to swim in the pristine lakes. It was an experience I will never forget as it was serene (www.nps.gov). At 6 pm we left to visit a beach at the cost of east Jamaica. Considering that we were very hungry so the tour guide had arranged a beach party where we had our dinner and danced all night long. We headed back to our hotel by 9 pm as there was a jam packed tour the next day. Considering I was so tired all I did was to head back home and slept.

Day 2 (Oregon)

We left the hotel by 10 am and we headed directly to the breweries. Portland is said to be the home of many breweries. Its history was told as we were travelling. It was told that the oldest brewery that was made was established by Henry Saxer in the year of 1852 known as the liberty brewery. We visited Widmer Brothers Brewery which is known to be the largest producing brewery. It produces high volume of brewery. It was told that Widmer Brothers Brewery is known to produce around 450,000 barrels. Soon after which we were also taken to Deschutes Brewery. It was told that it is known to produce 225,000 barrels in quantity. We were also made to visit the famous brewpubs in that area known as Hair of the Dog Brewing Company which is known to produce 15,000 barrels of beers. It produces unique beer by crafting methods (www.enotes.com). Since it was 6 pm and we headed to our hotel for dinner. We were also given individual souvenirs from the breweries which we enjoyed after dinner.

Day 3 (Oregon)

Today was the last day in Oregon. Today our tour schedule constituted 2 locations namely the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and the Oregon strawberry mountain. We headed to the mountainous area first. Since it is a east-central plateau with a summit ...
