What is the central theme of American history from 1900-1945?

The history of the United States of America is one of the most interesting of all time, because it can be seen from the different obstacles, difficulties and setbacks for those who have to cross its inhabitants to consolidate what is now the nation most powerful on the planet. Nevertheless, we must also remember that victories have been extremely important in most of their deeds, have had great statesmen and pro men who have given their best to their homeland. In the present study is to show American history from the early twentieth century, going through the various situations that characterized the development of a society strong and focus on intended is one through which there is evidence of the importance of leaders American society since the beginning of the century. Also, to start, emphasis placed in one of the factors that contributed to shaping the country and in scope.

In the forty-five years from 1900 to the end of World War II, the modern character of American newspapers forged in the context of dynamic changes in the world and the nation. This tumultuous period spans the Progressive Era, a world war in Europe, a decade of Prosperity, the Great Depression, and a second, world war, is the central theme of the United States history from 1900-1945.

Journalists charted, more or less successfully, the stream of Political, economic, and social changes. In the economic realm, newspaper Publishers face serious competition from revitalized magazines, the immediacy of radio, and a glamorous movie industry: some fought new media; some embraced it, some sold out. In the end there were fewer owners, some of whom came to be called moguls (Kirkland, 1951).Explain answer, tracing the development of that theme across time (how Americans grappled with it at moments and specific places) identify central events, individual or ideas which show the progress of this confrontation.

The American history is the gradual settlement of the West, and this followed by four paragraphs defining the frontier as a moving belt between settled and free land; it moved because of the force behind it. As an effect of the environment into which it moved, the frontier's chief characteristic is a process of reversion to savagery followed by a slow recovery of civilization that, because its chief influences are indigenous, cannot be an imitation of European life and must therefore be American alone.
