Introduction

The world today has radically changed from back in the twentieth century. All sorts of technology with significance have been brought into existence invented to make work easier for the human beings. Architecture has been divided down into many categories to fit the lifestyle of people in at the particular time and place. The vintage collection in arts is gaining significance in the current scenario. The designs and styles that were introduced in the past are now getting revived by the recreation and reinterpretation of arts. The initial craftsman was familiar with the fact that their survival all the way through cave paintings was not an easy thing. These propel would create practical stuff and then include decorations and more beauty to add up in the aesthetic of such creations. The next action would be to create attractive objects with no realistic purpose, possibly for religious reason. The division between practical design, style and decorative art is still in existence. The difference is that this art is getting more modified with the passage of time. It has been thought that the creation of such stuff had a very essential role in the progress of objects, their expertise and its use.

In this research paper I will be exploring the 1960 period in terms of the print and television media. This era is very famous for the pop art and has transformed the way people looked at art. The main reason for selecting this era is that it transformed the art form along with the perception that the people have regarding the changed in this era.

Task 1: Research

The current trend of vintage revival will be contributing to the variety of such items and antiques. To make an “Invented tradition” one should feel about the reinterpretation and recreation of tradition and customs. Firstly, there must be a choice between “the continuation of tradition” and “the reinterpretation of tradition”. The focus on the primary role individuality is also too much, we will get outcomes that are unsuitable for the time period. Occasionally, we are biased to go after the steps of the older ones. The sightless imitation of the old fashioned is a type of “the continuation of tradition”. On the other side, if the second part, “the process of creation”, is focused on extremely, a thing of unidentified nationality will get on the least provocation through “reinterpretation of tradition” (Anonymous, pp. 01). When philosophy and ideology is practical and is applied to the other cultures in an exceptionally out of circumstance or diversified manner, the real meaning of the culture will be vanished. Furthermore, we must decide in selecting a common denominator with the existing culture, taking over it and transforming it.
