The main purpose of this paper is to make an analysis and critique on the article “Patients' conceptions of how the spiritual dimension is addressed in mental health care: a qualitative study”. The article has its focus on the patient's conception and ideas about the spiritual dimensions for the mental health problems.

The title of the article is very good and it attracts the reader's attention. The readers of this article can have a better understanding for the article that the article is written on the patient's perceptions about the spiritual dimensions in mental health. Introduction

In the introduction of this article, the author have described that the different nations take the meaning of spirituality in different ways. According to the author, there are some countries like Spain, having the multi-fait. In such nations, different people conceive the meaning of spirituality differently. Therefore, it is necessary for the health care professionals like nurses, that they should keep in consideration the different views of spirituality while dealing with the patients of mental care (Barbosa, 2002, p. 90). In the background section, author has described the holistic view about the spirituality. In this section author has presented the clear picture of the spiritual dimensions. He says that it is necessary for the nurses that they should keep in view the holistic view and concept of spirituality. Design

In order to conduct this research, the author has used the qualitative research methodology. Qualitative research is a set of investigative techniques, whose use is widespread. It provides an overview of the behaviour and perceptions of people and allows us to study their views on a particular topic in greater depth than in a survey. It generates ideas and hypotheses that can help understand how an issue is perceived by the target population and to define or identify options related to this issue. This technique is used in many pre-test concepts (Basch, 2004, p. 11). Qualitative research is based on semi-structured or even unstructured in which the moderator or interviewer working with a discussion guide and an interview guide developed by topic and focus of the study. Compared to the investigative techniques of the frame, qualitative research does not use a closed questionnaire.
