Introduction

Death Penalty is fair or not? It is humanitarian or not? Does it help in preventing crimes or not? Respond to such queries will be different depending upon as to who is responding. But the capital punishment elevates many debatable issues. Americans got troubled facing same these questions, on the Salem witch trial day. While the Salem witch trial going on, they faced the identical issues like the society is facing now. Twenty guiltless persons got verdict to death. And there was no time to change the issue and later on the confessed to what they have done.

Effecting to the guiltless verdicts is still foremost anxiety for the Americans.
