2. Research Psalms 8:3-4, Psalms 19:1, Romans 1:19-20, Acts 14:15-17, and Acts 17:22-26. As you research these passages list those things which may be known of God through this “general revelation” or this “theology of nature.”

The relationship between nature and grace was again raised at the beginning of Thomistic revival of the late XIX century, the main ideological leaders who were Pope Leo XIII, Joseph Kleytgen and Matteo Liberatore, whose views are reflected in the encyclical Aeterni Patris. They defended the scholastic doctrine of nature and grace, with a view to avoid the extremes of fideism and rationalism in their understanding.

3. Discuss some ways in which God revealed His truth to the Bible writers.

God revealed the truth of the Bible to the writers by the Holy Spirit to reveal this to them, but do not leave a permanent record of it for them. One thing to know a fact and another is to find the exact words in his vocabulary to give an accurate understanding of the truth. The words they used were not dictated by human reason or wisdom, but "in the words taught by the Spirit" (1 Cor. 2:13). The Holy Spirit taught them the words because he revealed the truth behind the words (Childs, 1993).

4. Contrast the word “inspiration” as used in II Timothy 3:16 with the word “inspiration” as is sometimes used by artists or poets.

The term inspiration, when it comes to the Bible, used to describe the "breath" of the Spirit of God on the authors to guide their thoughts. Evidence of the inspiration of the Bible are numerous and convincing. The Bible is the Word of God directly inspired. The inspiration of the Bible can be defined as a direct intervention of God in the lives of human authors of the Bible. In the context of the Scriptures, the word inspiration simply means "God-breathed." Inspiration tells us that the Bible is the Word of God and makes it unique from all other books (Boadt, 1985).

While, the inspiration used by artists is when they get inspired of something and frame it in words in a shape of poem or painting on canvas.

5. Write a paragraph on how God is both transcendent and immanent.

At first glance one sees that if God is everywhere, all these parts must contain God and, even in a small portion, God's presence is felt. Even so, the view has been a transcendent God, distant, unattainable, who judges and rewards or punishes. We have not been emphasized enough the presence of God immanent, the God within, that part of God within us and that is the true God (Boadt, 1985).

6. Discuss the intimations of the trinity found in Genesis 1:1, Genesis 1:26, and Acts 13:33.
