Introduction

Bill Bright and his wife Vonette William R. "Bill" Bright (October 19 of 1921 - July 19 of 2003) was an evangelist U.S., founder of the Christian organization Campus Crusade for Christ. He wrote the booklet The Four Spiritual Laws in 1956 and in 1979 produced the film Jesus.

Discussion

Faith is "the first of the theological virtues of light and knowledge that a supernatural being is believed what God says and the Church proposes." In this sense, faith is to accept certain truths. It is therefore essentially an intellectual act. But when we speak of faith, we do not mean just that. Because having "faith in someone" is "trust" that person. It is, therefore, "trust" and "be faithful" (having "Fidelity") to one in whom we trust and in whom we placed our faith. In this second, faith is not essentially an "intellectual act" but an "experience" that leads us to rely and to be faithful, not only to what "said" the Lord Jesus, but before that, the "person" of the Lord Jesus. In other words, Christian faith, rather than fidelity to the "truths" that taught the Lord is faithful to the "life" that led the Lord.

Obviously, the faith that is in all this is a faith that 1) is to accept truths that we cannot know because they are within our reach, 2) is to accept a God who needs the suffering and death of his Son, to forgive those who offend him, 3) is, therefore, to believe what we cannot prove or demonstrate, to believe something incredible, absurd, it seems, more of a mental illness, that virtue or excellence that deserves reward.

While other religious systems require that a person is doing or not doing certain things, Christianity has to do with a relationship to God. When Christianity is the belief that Christ died on the cross as atonement for your own sins and rose again. Your sin debt is paid and you may have fellowship with God. You can win out over your sinful nature and in communion with God and in obedience to convert. That's true, biblical Christianity.

The profession of faith

The kerygma , the fundamental creed of Christians contained in the Epistle of Paul to the Corinthians, says that if Jesus Christ is not risen, the Christian faith is empty . Two other creeds have clarified the Christian faith, the Apostles' Creed and the Nicene-Constantinople (or creed). However, all Christians do not place a value on these last two. These professions of faith are divided into four parts. The first confirms the doctrine monotheistic Christianity by stating that there is only one God who is also the Creator. The second part states that Jesus Christ is the only son of God and that he suffered and died.
