Catalyst

A catalyst implies a kind of an intermediary that initiates the process of catalysis, which signifies and regards the rate of variations and changes occurring in what is called a chain reaction. If one skims through the phenomenon, a catalyst is not consumed by the phenomenon or the reaction itself, but acts like a participant in the process.
