Introduction

With the passage of time, technology has advanced to an entirely different level where automation and feasibility of technological tool consumption have grown to immense heights. One such technology is known by the name of Bluetooth which is a replacement for all the physical wires and cables used for the transmission of data and voice signals.

Among the major advantages of the Bluetooth devices, less power consumption, flexibility, mobility and no requirement of physical installation are worth noticing. Bluetooth is a technological tool which is based on the radio technology that provides a low power and low cost communications over the short range. Moreover, it is being thought of as a possible replacement for the cables currently being used to connect fixed or portable electronic devices, provide access points for voice and data, and building ad hoc networks.

The general characteristics of the Bluetooth technology include a 732 KBPS data rate, 10m~100m operating range, a Gaussian shaped BFSK modulation and a link layer encryption and authentication system for security.
