Introduction

There is a huge role of nursing care homes in the context of United Kingdom. Many old age people are unable to support themselves and thus require comprehensive assistance from nursing care programs. Nursing homes are prone to provide long term housing, assistance as well as offering 24 hours nursing care to people that are unable to function on individualized basis. There is a prediction among European Union that the need of nursing care homes would significantly increase in the future years. We would conduct a comprehensive business environment analysis in the context of pertinent nursing care homes. Our focus of analysis in this paper would be St. Johns Nursing home. It is a well renowned nursing care home in a residential area in surrey. It has been known to provide both electronic nursing as well as general nursing. They have been known to provide nursing assistance not only to the elderly but also the frail individuals. St. Johns nursing home provides ample training opportunities to its employees for successfully honing their skills. St. Johns prides itself on the aspect of caring for residents along with providing both permanent and respite care (St. Johns, 2013).

Discussion

Since changes take place on a rapid pace in the context of business environment, there are a lot of diverse factors that need to be addressed in a comprehensive manner. Without addressing these factors, we would not be able to successfully analyze the current business environment of United Kingdom. The analysis of the business environment would be addressing the changes in market trends, state of economy, regulations and frameworks and other essential factors (Devereaux, 2009).

The aim of St. Johns is to arrange a safe and lively environment for the residents in order to assist them in their successful recovery. It successfully implements a mechanism of different activities that significantly enhance the comfort of the residents (Forder & Fernandez, 2011). The employees at St. Johns devote a vast amount of time in devising and implementing care plans according to specific needs. Each resident would be provided with a customized care plan according to their distinct needs. Since there are a large number of people that need customized care, a unified care plan cannot be devised and implemented (St. Johns, 2013).

The residents under supervision of St. Johns are inclined to benefit from different activities in the process of rehabilitation. They have been known to celebrate different types of events that further enhance the enjoyment level of the residents. The different types of activities go a long way in increasing the participation level of the residents and the residents can be relieved from their worries. With successful activities and care plans in place, different residents can be felicitated according to their distinct needs.
