Q1. Did the people involved act impartially?

The decisions which were made concerning uncles health were completely impartial, because of the fact that it was uncles sister who took all the decisions, a other family members weren't involved in the process of decision making. During the decision making process uncle's sister were absolutely impartial as she completely dependent on the facts, and figures which were given to her by the doctors regarding the condition of her brother. The decision of hiring a nurse to look after her brother was the decision which reflects the essence of impartiality in the decision making process. Impartial behavior presupposes respect towards the principles of morality, and they were followed in this case. Uncle's sister did not treat her brother as a thing because her main task was to find out where he would feel better, and what would be the best thing to satisfy the needs of her brother. Even though her brother had a serious mental disorder and was incompetent to be responsible for him-self, she treated him as an end in himself.

When she noted the fact that her brother felt more comfortable under the supervision of a nurse, she immediately hired a nurse for him. Yet, if the medication can harm her brother it is not right to send him to the hospital, where he would get obligatory medical treatment. He had refused medications because he felt bad after them. Together with the medication he refused social life. The behavior of his family is immoral. It was not enough to state that they just were not able to talk to him. Moreover, they put all responsibility for looking their uncle on his sister, whereas the right thing to do would be to participate in the whole process of looking after and taking care of uncle. It was because of their depravity towards their uncle, the sister had to take the responsibility of looking after the uncle, and being the only one made her feel frustrated, and perturbed. It was too much for one person that is why the decision was made painfully and slowly. It would be reasonable if uncle's family would appreciate him; instead they just refused to take responsibility. If they wanted, they could have taken some time out at least to visit the uncle, and spend some time with him inquiring about his health, and condition.

Q2. Did the people involved have good reasons for their decisions or actions?

The only person that was involved in the decision making process concerning the health of the uncle was his sister, since the rest of the family turned off their backs on their uncle, it was the responsibility of the sister to look after her brother, and take decisions regarding his health. The decisions which were taken by uncle's sister were utterly unprejudiced, as the decisions taken by her were entirely based on facts and figures, given to her by the doctors, along with that she also kept in special ...
