Causes of Social Injustices

Introduction

Social injustice is a term that is used when all individuals living in a certain society do not have access to what that society has to offer. Social injustice is said to be done when services systems, facilities and rights are not guaranteed to the individual. In a society made of us humans there are bound to be instances where a certain group feels deprived in ways normal members of that society are not. There are many scenarios in which one can say that there is social injustice in that society. For example, not having access to clean water is an example of social injustice. It is also evident when a group's right to healthcare, education or say in political matters is denied. There are places in the world where the mere existence of a certain social group is not tolerated and these groups face social injustice on a daily basis.

Much later, we saw the same injustice being meted out to the African-Americans as well. Nowadays, these injustices against ethnic groups, religious groups or gender based groups continue.
