Description of Character's Personality

The responses generated by the assessment questions have provided enough data to thoroughly analyze the personality of character. The character is a 32 year old White woman who is living single and working at the position of upper level management in an advertising firm. The responses made by character provide clear reflection that; she would like to be successful professionally and for this she feels that she still have to work harder and smarter than anyone else. The client appears to be achieving the pinnacle of success by keeping striving and competing towards her goals. She had a lot of independence in growing up and does not describe her parents as encouraging. Her independence in growing up injected the instinct of risk taking in her as she believes that when she work on projects by being directly involved, the results turn out to be better.

As the character is a lesbian, she tries to hide this identity from public because according to her, if she would reveal this identity in the public, her professional life would suffer. She is a person who is not very outgoing and do not like to be social. Her introvert personality attributes permits it to stay home on the weekend than to go out to meet new people. In personal life, she likes to be approached in person rather than by various digital means of communication especially when it is about wishing someone on her birthday or any other achievement. She felt angry and disappointed when her mother sent her a printed birthday card to wish her and did not wish her in person. She possesses an assertive personality style that is not natural and she learned to be such way as a requirement for her professional career.

She does not follow the tradition or cultural values as they did not help her in shaping her personality that she is today. This reflects her personality as she does not like things to follow as other people in the society are doing rather; she wants to pursue something that she feels is important for her. She is a kind of person who can work well in a group with others and proves to be a good leader of a group with whom she is working.
