The Chartres Cathedral is one of the historic and most w2onderful architectures found today. The religion of origin of this historic cathedral is Christianity. It has been found after researching on this cathedral that the builder of this cathedral is not known. It is obvious that the person who built this cathedral has done a wonderful task and proved his skills as an architect. It has been studied that a large number of men began working on this cathedral in the year 1145. In the year 1194, major parts of the town and the building of the cathedral were damaged because of the fire. But, an initiative was made to rebuild the cathedral during the years 1194 to 1230. It was also observed that there were some people who disliked the Chartres Cathedral, and this group of people was called the Normans. It has also been observed that the Chartres Cathedral was not considered as a sacred place till the year 1260, and then this cathedral was defined as a sacred place in 1260.
