The technological developments include positive and negative aspects; it all depends on the use that is given to these means. The trap is not in the technology itself, but in how one uses technology. In this globalized era, internet has become an indispensable tool for the society. In an electric information environment, minority groups can no longer be content, but that does not mean that the majority groups instead of using the internet as a media use it as the medium that will provide the lowest sexual satisfaction.

Child pornography basically refers to pictures and movies that contain sexual acts involving a child. Child pornography is also referred to as child abuse. Abuse of children occurs during the performance of sexual acts with children in pornographic pictures and films. It has been observed that the internet has increased access to pornographic materials significantly. Some of the most successful entrepreneurs on the internet involve in dealing specifically with pornographic sites. These sites deliver pages, movies and photos with pornographic content. Internet offers more interactive and interesting sites, such as interactive webcam-based conversations with a nude model is very common. There are two major advantages for companies to use the Internet. Firstly, consumers can avoid the social stigma that is paired with pornography because they do not go into a store and buy pornographic content; instead they use their credit cards to pay for their sexual satisfaction. The second advantage is reaching out to a much wider audience, which is interesting for companies that specialize in specific sexual fetishes - where also the social stigma is even greater. Since, internet is available in almost every country of the world, and pornography in many places is surrounded by very strict laws. Internet is also used as a way to circumvent the law by purchasing pornography on foreign pages.

There are various negative points of the internet. The adopted negative points that are perceived by individuals about internet have changed the perception of individuals about internet and its usage. Internet has become a medium that constantly sends information about any subject instantly. It is agreeable that as we saturate much information that it's time that we do not know what we're reporting. Technology patterns are seriously threatened by new methods of instantaneous electric information retrieval. This is not alarming; the real concern is that the internet has become one of the main places where we can find wholesale pornography (Sher, Carey, 2007). The dramatic increase in child pornography of all kinds is running to increased harassment and brutality against minors. The abuse and rape of children is a least convenient expansion consent of magazines, comic books or videos that portray children as sex objects to adults, and they really want to be abused (Wall, 2001).
