Introduction

Eating balanced diet everyday is important in every stage of life of human being but children are given additional care because their early eating habits will be with them throughout their life span. Children with unbalanced diets develop certain conditions/diseases which become much sever when they go old. Children who eat health are able to enjoy a better and quality life which make them feel better and happy (Roberts, 2000, 163). Habit of eating balanced diet in children can prevent serious health issues as children grow old. Improved and balanced diet is very important for mental and physical development of children. It is recommended that children in order for enjoy and flourish good health then they should have habit of eating good and health food. We know that today children are fond of junk and unhealthy food because of which they faced problems when they grow old (Robert, 2007, 318). This problem of eating unhealthy and unbalanced diet in children ultimately affects future of nation. Therefore it is very important to provide children with proper and health balanced diet. In this paper I am going to discuss variety of interventions to improve childhood diets.

We shall be doing a systematic review of interventions to change behaviour of children in terms of their diets. We shall also be describing the type of parents involvement would be effective in achieving desired outcomes. Research on the prevention of health problems among children now focus on how the components of effective interventions can be integrated into health, education and care systems and obtain sustainable in the long term. Today's parents are very busy with their professional lives which do not allow them to take much time to have a look at eating habits of children while research shows that parents are the main drivers of for children in terms of food. Thus it is very important for them to take care of eating habits of their children so that they can avoid facing any issues in future. In addition the purpose of writing this paper is to let parent and other readers know about eating flaws in children diets and proper intervention to improve children diet. This paper will let readers know that giving one good meal to children does not mean providing balanced diets. It is also about creating healthy eating habits for children and maintaining these habits over period of time in their childhood which automatically will be carried in their adulthood.

Discussion

Diet related issues in children have become growing problem for entire world, thus a health and proper diet in children can help them avoid current trend and can also avoid future problems.
