Introduction

Music is food for the soul to the panacea for the mind. Music can help improve memory. Kids can rattle off the entire range of the alphabet in the song but cannot remember the orders sans the line. This happens because the functions of music are handled in a different section of the brain than speech. The music continues to touch hearts the world over, regardless of color and race. In this paper we have discussed different types of music. I have always had a strong love and devotion for music. My passion for music has led me to learning guitar. Being an amateur guitarist, I realize the importance of watching and listening to the experts of the field. It is for this reason that I have attended numerous performances of various expert instrumentalists and guitarists over the last couple of years. These performances have not only been a source of great learning but also experiences of immense pleasure.

The purpose of this paper is to do a detail discussion on concert of classical music. Classical music is an integral and fundamental part of "musical art. On May 13, 2012, I attended a concert at Viejaas in San Diego by Gyan Riley; The audience were in a great excitement for the concert of the famous classical guitarist Gyan Riley. One of my favorite guitarists from the present day is Gyan Riley. I have had the privilege of watching Riley perform twice during the year. One of these experiences came from a concert that was staged by KDFC-FM, named Gyan Riley 'A Dialogue with Bach'. The show was hosted at Viejaas in San Diego, with the highlight being the “Bach Suites for Solo Cello”.

Concert Report

The performance, Gyan Riley 'A Dialogue with Bach', was held on March 13 May, 2012 in the Viejaas in San Diego. The performance was scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. in the evening.. I was very excited about my presence at the event since I had never attended a classical-music concert before.
