Cloud Computing in Education

Abstract

This research paper showed the information about cloud computing and how cloud computing is serving educational institutes. There is also discussion about the risks associated with cloud computing. In the end, there is a conclusion which shows that risks associated with cloud computing are less than the benefits. It is seen in several cases that there are also risks associated with cloud computing. There are also solutions to minimize the risks when careful considerations are made. We will discuss the risks associated with cloud computing and come to the conclusion that it is beneficial or risky to use cloud computing for everyday use. This study presents the mixed research methods in which qualitative research method predominant the quantitative research method.

Introduction

Technology is advancing every day. Each day bring new ideas, revolutions and inventions. Today, no house and organization, is without computer. Information Technology is playing a vital role in reshaping lives. Today, Class rooms have changed. Students are expecting to see more technologies in their school time when the bell rings to the final bell. Educational institutes are searching for new tools and methods, to adopt technology. These technologies are essential in making the future of students brighter as compared to the past when job opportunities were not high. Cloud Computing is providing solutions to all the problems. They are searching for new models of cloud computing, which are not available with other IT models. Individuals and students should have deep knowledge of cloud computing. Public and Private Institutions are using cloud computing to get improved results. Emails are free in the clouds for many institutions all over the world. Students can send free emails anywhere by using cloud computing. The cloud computing provides the best services to students, teachers, parents and other staff to use it from anywhere and utilize the services. The sharing of Information Technology services into the cloud makes the institutions grow and produce best results in the field of education. There are certain questions why all educational institutes are adopting the cloud computing. There are many advantages associated with cloud computing. The paper will discuss the research design; ontology and epistemology in order to create the research of cloud computing in education.

Research Methodology

There are two main data sources of researches primary and secondary. This methodology used both the primary and secondary sources. The resources of secondary data were easily available. In order to collect secondary data, researcher investigates articles that are found in the literature. The survey was carried at different places by different person who mentioned in this paper.
