Introduction

This paper discusses the Mead's symbolic interaction theory in terms of communication theory which describes all the characteristics that are creating reality, naming, minding and a self fulfilling prophecy. The symbol that we discuss in a whole new light and that can be seen in the world is defined under the symbolic interactive theory. It reflects the visualization among the peoples that they perceive the objects. The most constantly changing social interaction act is interaction, which has been debated through this theory. This theory has been applied to various subjects by different scholars. This theory has been commended and criticized by the number of scholars. This work will discuss the application of this theory on the scenario, society, culture and psychology.

Discussion

The most difficult and potential argument of the theory is the comparison of symbolic interactive theory with the society. In terms of philosophical point of view, consequence measured the truth and meaning. Pragmatism issue which discussed this point of view is a part of the theory. Pragmatism is highly favoured by many scholars as a philosophical tradition, therefore the symbolic interactive theory is always highly acknowledged. However, this theory disregarded actual human activity and these aspects of the theory tend to break away. The dualism and idealism is highly believed as a part of theory. The most part of the work discussed through the theory explains the ways of creation of intelligence and development of human mind. The society has been up hold a steady mirror as discussed under the symbolic interactive theory. It means that the society reflects it image back to itself. Pragmatist followers are considered to be the basis of the creation of the symbolic interactive theory. This means that the symbolic interactive theory can be related to sociological tradition that is linked with Pragmatists. According to the symbolic interactive theory a symbolic value or a representation is hold by every object. The symbolic interaction of any completed act is made as image which is previously a part of history or future act. The social actions have been explained as a part of the theory. Four main stages of an act have been discussed in the symbolic interactive theory. These stages are: perception, impulse, manipulation and consummation. The future has been preserved as a public and social act, under this theory. Most important issue in considering symbolic interactive theory is the issue of environment and the issue of other events and actions occurring on earth. The symbolization of environment of man in society is preferred against nature or soma by the symbolic interactive theory.

In order to mingle with the symbolic interaction, the meaning of actions that are running behind the society must be considered. The behavioural meaning can be understand by these actions in self and society. The reaction of a person towards the object explains the meanings.
