Communication Using Body Language

Introduction

Many scientists consider the significance of the human's capacity for spoken language. There is another parallel track of nonverbal communication, which reveals our chosen words and phrase through our body (Julie, 2012). It is sometimes odd when we talk and express what is inside us, since most of the nonverbal communication, signaling of expression, reading of signals is repeated and it is performed through our control and conscious awareness. We can communicate unwittingly and exchange great information about our state of mind through nonverbal communications (Mlodinow, 2012). The expressions of a human are supported with his or her gesture (situation in which we control and our body). The nonverbal qualities and the facial expression an individual wear on his face contributes in how other view him or her (Mlodinow, 2012). Nonverbal communication is also known as social language that is more significant and fundamental than words (Amos, 2012). The sensors of human body are powerful enough to notice the change and they are directly associated with the body language of an individual. Humans have the ability to perceive the emotions accurately.

It is important to learn about the people's ideas and thoughts by their gestures. “The Definitive Book of Body Language” is the book that helps in understanding the body language of others and how to present ourselves in different circumstances, For example, expression and emotions of others. For example, how to judge the person who is lying, how to make you likeable among others and how to get cooperation from others by using appropriate gestures and postures (Allan et.al, 2005).

Discussion

Communicating Through Body Language

Sometimes people communicate and convey their messages that are understood, but sometimes it is not. The written and spoken communication also consists of nonverbal signaling to understand what message is being conveyed from an individual. Nonverbal communication is important because it gives the meaningful understanding while presenting written communication or speaking in words (Quy, 2012). Whenever there is a conflict between the verbal and nonverbal communication while transmitting the message, body language is more appropriate in revealing meaningful thought and the true sense of feelings and emotions (Quy, 2012).
