Introduction

Hollywood is beyond doubt the best film industry in the whole world, and has been producing master pieces since a number of years. The production of classical and outstanding movies, that is the distinguishing characteristic of Hollywood, is attributed to all the onscreen as well as off-screen players, which make the movies worth watching and appreciating.

Among the off-stage workers, directors play a major role in determining the fate of the movie, as their creativity and imaginative skills make the true presentation of the story possible and the same skills allow the actors to present their best. Tim Burton is known for creating true to life as well as natural effects in his movies, which are not only captivating but also present, the story of the movie in an outstanding manner. Most of his movies deal with individuals who are dumped by the society and are leading a lonely life, with no one knowing about their feelings and whereabouts. In addition, he deals with thriller and horror movies that present a real challenge to any director, but the imaginative juices and creative skills of Tim Burton allow him to direct all such movies perfectly well (Gallo, 2009, Pp: 183). Batman, Conversations with Vincent and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory are the most outstanding examples of his direction, in which unique and unusual concepts are presented in the efficient and artistic manner.
