Introduction

The success of the business depends upon how their management is and what system thinking approaches are involved. The system thinking can be explained as the collection of interrelated and interdependent parts put together to achieve the goal of the organization. The system can be defined as formal and informal procedures which organizational (Rodger, 2008, p.1).

Analysis

Summary of system thinking analyzed

The system approach of the organization broadens the complexity and the view of organization in terms of social system and adaptive systems. The organization system thinking constitutes of the various independent autonomous entities and members which have a common objective and this causes mutual and shared interactions. Complex adaptability systems are described by key characteristics which are in by of surfacing self-organizing (Robert, 2010, p.34).

In the system thinking approach, the system is looked as a primary and parts are considered as secondary. The system thinking involves analyzing the whole organization, customers, employees, management structure, outcomes, core strategies, openness and feedback, communication and the holistic perspective. The system analyzed examined the organization's culture, leadership, capabilities, empowerment of employees and measurement of performance (Rodger, 2008, p.1).

Description of gap between the current state and the desired sate

The current state represents the ways things are done presently, the processes, procedures and systems used on regular basis. The management measure if the current practices are effective and measuring them against the desired state. The management must efficiently understand the importance of assessing the gap and the causes which produce this gap (Robert, 2010, p.34).
