Desktop systems made to support organization needs provide additional performance compare to personal computers for home use. A wide range of personal computers for organizations is being offered by many computer manufacturing firms. Dell XPS x8300 has Core i7 technology, which makes it superior to HP Compaq 6000 Pro. Additionally, advanced graphics support, extended storage capacity, and cheaper price provide it edge over other systems build for organization use.

Introduction

Technological advancement has brought a revolution in all industries. Globalization of business operations and core activities management has become flexible due to coordination of activities over well designed computer systems. Many personal computer manufacturing companies have provided a range of computers that serve a specific need of every user based on the specification of the system and its compatibility to consumer needs. IBM, Dell, Apple, Sony, Compaq, and Hp dominate the personal computer manufacturing industry. Computers for multimedia purpose and office-use offer extreme performance and functionality with add-on physical parts installation in system.

Main objective of this paper is to present information on three different computer models and evaluate their suitability for the organization based on price, performance, functions, and physical features.

Comparison of Computer Systems

Three different computers that have been compared for analysis and selection include Dell XPS x8300, HP Compaq 600 Pro, and Lenovo Thinkstation C20. All these computers are compatible to the professional work needs of an organization. These systems perform more than just supporting multimedia featuring (Dell Inc., 2011; HP US, 2011; Lenovo, 2011). These systems come with extra features that make them distinct from other computers.
