Planning and Design of Venue

Introduction 

In any city, even one excellent centre is enough for a city to cater the attention of international conferences. Hence, conference and party venues are designed with consultation of professional organisers, according to the needs of general events and parties. Event management and planning is a long process that involves numerous responsibilities and tasks that keeps on changing according to plan and during the whole event process. It requires thorough vision, coordination, attention and in-depth planning to make any event successful. However, the process of planning and designing the Event and Venue differs from each other according to event type.

Typically, Planning and Designing a Venue involves comprehensive amenities to facilitate all types of conferences and party events, such as, Official meetings, Conferences, Luncheons, Business dinners, receptions and official parties. Firms organising these events requires a proper Venues to meet their requirements to make the event successful. Planning and designing a Venue to make an event successful can only be done by providing ideal settings for conferences and parties. It is imperative to know that for a successful event two key elements should be present; Decorative and aesthetic elements and streamlining the event. The event Venue should be designed on the basis of standards provided by the international Association of conference centres (Friedman, 2003).

In the contemporary world, conference and party venues are designed with consultation of professional organisers, according to the needs of general events and parties. Every element of design and planning process requires a comprehensive research.

About Report

In this report, we are going to present the planning and design process of our 'Conference and Party Venue' at Clerk Street in the city centre. With the strong sense of community, we would like to establish the centre within integral part of the city community, so that, we can develop a relationship that will ensure efficiency and value for t money and support needed. For the organisation of any event, there is a dire need of presence all the facilities that it requires. Organisers look for delegate capacity, large and number of rooms available and seating arrangements etc. We provide all types of seating arrangements, as, sometimes they look for are in theatre style, boardrooms, banquet, reception, U-shape. On the other hand, it is also being noticed that how many doors are there. Where are they positioned? Their width and where they lead the person? Any special door that allow taking in wheel chairs and pushchairs. By providing all these services in our venue we can become the best venue of the city. As, nobody has ever provided all of the facilities at one location.
