ABSTRACT

This research study intended to examine the perceptions of nurses working at Ibri Regional Hospital regarding the current CPD activities and professional development. The findings of this research study indicate that there is a significant impact of continuing professional development for the health care staff. Most of the nurses have a perception that CPD is responsible for professional development of healthcare staff. The findings of this study suggest that continuing professional development in nursing is shared responsibility of the individual and the organization. The hospital management should provide funds to their staff nurses for attending these programs, as it have an influential impact on the careers of nurses as well as improves the quality of care.

This research study intended to examine the perceptions of nurses working at Ibri Regional Hospital regarding the current CPD activities and professional development. This chapter presents the in-depth analysis of research findings.
