Introduction

The study is related to corporate training importance or advantages for corporate level training. In this context, the programs of corporate training are offered to executives to improve or sharpen the ability and expertise of employees of company in a unified and centralized way. Corporate level training is used to guide new employees or to put into practice new processes and systems in the organization. Though, it is observed that organizations beehive that this corporate level training costs valuable time and money. Moreover, the study emphasizes on how mentoring is important for the managers and the attitudes of teams of trained managers. For this purpose, the study focuses on analysis of the data which is gathered from the fifty managerial level employees selected at random.

Discussion

Corporate level training has various advantages which can guide the manager in having better management of teams through learning process. Training can give confidence to the managers to do their job well. The basis of this statement is that perusing a new job and probably new responsibilities can be very difficult experience for an individual as it can take several months to cope-up with the desired duties and responsibilities of the job. Training can facilitate the stress of managers and can allow them to make take actions and decisions based on the scenarios (Moore, 2002). In addition to empower the managers, corporate level training welcomes new employee and show them that the organization want them to work at their maximum potential, be knowledgeable and comfortable.

In relation to corporate training, on the job training takes place at the working environment which is generally supervised by an experienced coworker or senior manager. However, off the job training is a training at an environment which is away from the actual working site (Haskell, 2009).

Corporate trainings of managers enhance their job satisfaction as the majority of managers want to do their best; however, it is almost not possible to do best when managers are not aware of what is expected from them. In relation to this, it is observed that the organizations who do not focus on corporate trainings of managers emphasize on “the trial by fire” method which is not an effective or long lasting policy (Rothwell, Lindholm and Wallick, 2003). The reason of this statement is that learning from past mistakes and having knowledge of experiences can raise the learning curve of managers which enhances the confidence of managers which is reflected from the performance of their teams (Haskell, 2009).

The corporate training of managers also explains expectations of the department as a whole, as when a new process is put into practice within the organization, confusion takes place. Moreover, it observed that often training of one day can assist managers to comprehend the necessity of change to get the desired level of progress by the company (Rothwell, Lindholm & Wallick, 2003).
