Critique for short story “Finally Caught"

Introduction

The short story penned down by Dr. Mohammed Salibi, who published his story in the newspaper of AL-Hayat. Dr, Muhammad is the Palestinian and contains soft feelings about his nation. The paper is designed to critique his story with similar incident that occurred in the same time, under the header of Jews war in the year of 1956. The story is short and quite hilarious in nature but yet it contains certain realities hidden in it.

Discussion Analysis

The portrayal of story is belonged to the animal, Rat, who seems small in size but made the family members of the house almost out of their nerves. In Short, the rat was the small package to show high authority. Initially, the scenes of the story seems slight worried by watching depressing news, but suddenly it goes in vain, when a small package enter in their house and maintain the same environment as it was going in the war. The loss done by rat provides the depiction of Jews in the war with Egyptian which also covers certain pages of the history.

If we compare the story with the background and scenes of the war, we will come to know that the army of Egyptian may have been well equipped and powerful in wealth, health and size, but they were not organized. The troops of Egyptians were badly trained and had not enough encouragement to fight. It has been observed that the motivation was very little as they people do not pay any incentives or allowances to the families of the soldiers on their deaths.
