Introduction

Transformational leader has a wide-ranging vision and significantly he is able to control, influence and inspire the supporters efficiently. Such leader is ready to take responsibility to make his staff involve in decision making process. A transformational leader remains intact with his followers and knows their strength, weakness and also addresses their issues in term of working conditions and their job satisfaction level. Transformational leader use to deploy visionary approach of leadership that instigates the followers to become enthusiastic in their job related tasks and solve problems creatively.

The nursing leaders support in providing quality care, safety of patients, and staff job satisfaction. Strong leadership is essential because the complex healthcare management system requires a good leader who can connect the world of healthcare management to the medical practice, while realizing people's needs and developing the broad health service programs required by them. Leadership is the usage of strong influence to shape healthcare organization's goals, to motivate behavior towards achieving these goals, and to make organizational culture. The effective leadership is the one who supports in accomplishing the main tasks in healthcare management (Sellgren, Ekvall, & Tomson, 2007).

According to that article, transformational leadership means that leader make modification in organization's vision and strategy to develop leadership behavior and culture of innovation that in turn brings higher moral values in followers. They proposed methods and techniques that develop innovative culture for nursing education. The main focused remained on benefits of participative management in health care organization. Transformational leaders are able to generate a culture where staff used to exchange valuable information.

The nursing leaders play an important role in supporting nurses and for improving health care environments. Nursing Leaders can help in making a satisfying organizational culture by motivating their staff, enhancing their morale, and performance of their junior groups. Nursing leaders have multiple roles in the society as well as in the integration of advanced nursing practice in healthcare settings. This integration is a continuous process, which involves communication, management of staff and their system. They focused on various programs for innovations in health education, but these are only relevant to Arizona State University College of Nursing & Healthcare. They do not focus on broad perspective of nursing education that can be implemented in every nursing institute.
