Cultural Changes

Introduction

During the 20th and 21st century, many cultural changes took place that also caused the lifestyle of people to change from a lower standard of living to a higher level of standard of living. These cultural changes have led the world to a new phase that leads toward the 21st century and the technological advancement has enhanced the capability of a human being to live in the most comfortable way as he/she can. Behaviourism, simplified, is the theory that a person is the product of their environment, and to change a person's behaviour, one needs to simply adjust their environment. More specifically, the term behaviourism was coined by John Watson which he defined as a “theoretical perspective in which learning and behaviour are described and explained in terms of stimulus-response relationships” (Hauser, 2005). Self-development culture

The creation of a new culture is of particular importance (or rather, its elements) through self-development (Wang, Su, & Yang, (2011).
