Introduction

The purpose of this paper is to explore and enlighten the concept of death penalty, along with the rights and wrongs related to it. Death Penalty has been a controversial issue for many years, and different people have different views related to death penalty. There are people who support death penalty and believe that culprits should be dead. While there are others who believe that death penalty violates human rights and should not be allowed.

Death penalties which are commonly known as capital punishments are one of the most controversial issues in the past few decades. The imposition of death penalty has been challenged by several people in the past years. There are countries where death penalties are considered as legal, while in the past there was time when it was considered to be illegal. Death penalties violate the Constitutional prohibition against the unjust law and order. It is considered as an unjust decision which should be prohibited in countries.

The law representatives of the countries decide that which crimes are imposed to death penalty. Death penalty means that the person who has committed a crime is hanged till death. Different countries have different views related to death penalties. Some countries order death penalty for those culprits who have committed severe crimes like terrorism and murders. While some countries believe that human beings can change with time, and it is not fair if they are not provided with a fair chance. The purpose of punishments is to improve the behavior of people, so that they do not commit the same crime again in their life. Death penalty means that no chance is given to the culprits to improve themselves.

This paper is intended to present the different views related to death penalties and capital punishments. The different perspectives related to death penalties helps in concluding that whether death penalty is right or wrong and whether it should be imposed or not. The paper will also focus on the reason behind the perspectives and how people are opposing the views. Death penalties are often opposed by different human rights perspectives, as killing someone is not considered to be fair. The people following human rights perspectives oppose death penalties and want countries to avoid ordering death penalties.
