Demonstrative Communication referred to an approach of sending and receiving messages. It includes non-verbal and verbal communications and involves sending and receiving wordless messages. It often used to support verbal communication. Facial expressions are the most constant form of nonverbal communication. Demonstrative communication can reinforce verbal communication. For example, a firm handshake, and an outgoing personality can honestly say a lot about a specific individual. A person can rely on these qualities to reinforce a person's verbal performance.

When a person meets someone, they can tell if the other person is friendly, not only because they initiate the conversation but because they have a happy look about them and a respectful posture. A person can gain an idea of what others think about them by the nonverbal signals that a person shows, such as, facial expressions or tone of voice. They can also observe someone's reaction to gaining positive or negative feedback and use it to their advantage. Demonstrative communication allows for self-expression. How a person presents themselves says much about their personality, which in the business world is very important.

Communication is around us every day and everywhere and having effective communications skills will help a conversation go smoothly. Demonstrative communication enhances verbal communication in many ways. For example, when a corporate businessman stands before his audience in a suit and tie, ready to present his sales strategy is really saying that, “I am a professional, I am attending to assist you and I know what I am talking about. Demonstrative communication can be in the form of facial expressions, gestures, body language and posture, eye gaze, blinking of eyes, and lips or mouth. Facial expressions are a powerful part of nonverbal communication because a lot of information can be given away with a smile or frown. Most facial expressions of happiness, surprise, excitement, and sadness are the same just about anywhere a person go. Gestures can be waving and pointing, and some gestures might have different meanings just about everywhere a person go.

The successful communication exhibits the effects understand of the message, education, and empowerment etc. Communication when effective it provides the sender and the receiver with all the information they need, when people know that they are able to understand the relevant terms they get more motivated to perform their best.
