Introduction

In August 2005, the southern states of the U.S. was hit by a severe hurricane "Katrina". Within a few days, it rolled down the coast of Florida, the Gulf of Mexico and Louisiana, destroying everything in its path. The main city of the state of Louisiana was flooded, New Orleans was flooded and villages in the coastal areas of Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama were totally destroyed. It killed more than 1,000 people.
