Nowadays, it is difficult to find someone who does not know someone else who has been divorced. According to a survey conducted by Michigan State University, ending a relationship is more problematic for young couples as compared to older ones. The study revealed that the separation undermines health and the younger couples tend to be the most affected. “We expected it to be less stressful for young people as it is more common today,” said Dr. Hui Liu told the Daily Mail. Twelve hundred people, aged between 25 and 83 years, were accompanied by interviews, for 15 years, and had to classify the health status of poor to excellent, data were compared to marital status. Those who showed worse health conditions participants were between 35 and 41 years (Jay, pp.1). In this paper, we would discuss some relevant researches/publications on divorce among young people. The inferences drawn by researchers would be analyzed and discussed with respect to our topic “Divorce among young people”.
